Oka Valley
Oka Valley

more about this picture >>
Photo: Thomas Heidbüchel
Compared to the Tunka Valley the Oka Valley is more remote, wilder and rougher. Moreover it is also much more difficult to get there, since the valley lies far away from all main roads.
And, as it is mostly the case with areas like that, he valley has its very unspoiled charm.
Only a short distance from the border to Mongolia, in Monbui, a road turns off to the right, parting from the M55. However, this road is poorly maintained, and, from Orlik onwards, in a pretty bad condition. It ends in a village called Chuchir.
A corresponding map for this area you can find in our shop http://shop.baikalplan.de.
